Sistema Eragilea | Editorial Board 2021

It can be said, except in few cases, that publications are printed matter that aim to be self-contained and long-lasting. As the result of formal processes that mix different types of materials, they uphold the imprint of an era and bear the mark of a relational practice. For that reason, each publication holds an enigma that can only be disclosed when is handled by the reader.

However, each publication does not respond the same way on each hand and table. Publications have parallel lives; they hold hidden stories and follow uncharted paths. To try to predict their future is a difficult task, but learning more about their past and present is exciting. Those hands that made them and the table on which they were conceived are agencies that deserve being summoned.

Editorial Board is a series of meetings conceived for the exchange and presentation of artist publications. In them, two main actions take place: to gather together and disseminate. Editorial Board allows artists, designers and publishers to show their own works.

The first edition of Editorial Board was held in three meetings in Pamplona, Azpeitia and Bilbao.
